9am-5pm, Wednesday-Friday, July 27th-29th - Advanced Solar Training

The Summer Extravaganza kicks off with three days of Advanced Hands-On Solar Training. Show Me Solar is proud to invite Aur Beck, industry veteran and Midwest Renewable Energy Association trainer, for a special three day hands on intensive Advance Solar PV training workshop. Based on the coursework he offers routinely at community college campuses in his home state of Illinois, this workshop is designed for the contractor, hard-core do-it-yourself homeowner or student of renewable energy seeking the type of training needed to start a career in the solar industry. This event will take place in the idyllic and distraction free setting of Terra Bella farm near Hatton and Auxvasse, Missouri centrally located in Callaway County just east of Columbia, Missouri and five miles north of interstate-70. 9am-5pm, Saturday, July 30th - Energy Raiser and Educational Workshops

Attend a variety of workshops throughout the day including an energy raiser workshop centered on the installation of a solar irrigation system for Tella Bella Farm. A complete schedule of available workshops coming soon. A lunch prepared from farm fresh organic food and employing solar cooking (weather permitting) will be provided. 11am-5pm, Sunday, July 31st - Statewide Summer Solar Celebration

Join Show Me Solar members and fellow solar enthusiasts for our Annual Summer Members Luncheon and Solar Celebration. The members meeting and luncheon will take place from 11am to 2pm. Farm fresh solar cooked food and drink will be provided for lunch. Side dishes are welcome. A full day access pass including lunch is $10. To register for the Members Luncheon click here.

Fun for the entire family starts at 2 pm with live music, eco-art activities, animal petting and donkey rides as well as tours of the farm including its working solar systems. Participation from 2-5pm is free and open to the public.
