Advanced Level Training
May 25-29, 2010, 5-Day Advanced PV Training - Ashland, Missouri Show Me Solar will host master instructor Ken Thames for 3 days of advanced classroom preparation followed by a hands-on installation of a working PV array at a Show Me Solar Energy Raiser. Ken has over 12 years experience installing PV systems in the field, has been an instructor for Arapohoe Community College in Denver, teaches courses for the Colorado chapter of the Solar Energy Industry Association and gives coporate trainings through Heat Spring, Inc. This 5 day solar boot camp will provide a unique educational experience for those seeking entry into the solar industry as a PV installer. We will open the first day of the course with a planning and design session with the homeowner, practice with training equipment during Ken's class and finish by actually installing the solar array. Class size for the fourth and fifth days, the hands-on field installation, will be limited to 10 and will close first so please reserve your spot by registering today!
